Site Preparation
Prepare and clear construction sites by removing obstacles or debris.
Assist in leveling ground surfaces before construction or excavation.
Safety Compliance
Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Be aware of surroundings, especially near workers, equipment, and underground utilities.
Equipment Inspection
Perform daily pre-operation checks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
Report and document any defects, damages, or required maintenance.
Maintenance Support
Assist in basic maintenance tasks like greasing, oil checks, and cleaning.
Coordinate with mechanics for major repairs or servicing.
Efficiency & Accuracy
Operate equipment with precision to avoid damage to property or underground utilities.
Maintain productivity while ensuring quality workmanship.
Following Instructions
Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, or foremen to understand project requirements.
Follow site maps, drawings, and elevation plans accurately.
Load & Unload Materials
Safely load and unload materials from trucks or stockpiles using the excavator.
Ensure stability and balance during lifting operations.
Communication
Communicate effectively with site workers and supervisors using hand signals or radios.
Report daily progress and any operational concerns.
Regulatory Compliance
Adhere to environmental and safety regulations as set by local authorities or site rules.
Keep up-to-date with certification and training requirements.
