Events Sales Coordinator

What you will be doing:
  • Preparation and follow-up of conference proposals in conjunction with the Sales team
  • Provide assistance in the formulation of quotations for conference proposals covering venue, function, menu and accommodation costs
  • Complete organisation of conference activity / events from confirmation to post-event follow-up in order to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Co-ordination and hosting of familiarisation and site inspection activity including follow-up.
  • Co-ordination and production of conference collateral material, i.e, conference kits, direct mail pieces, etc. in liaison with the Sales Manager
  • Plan & initiate action plan to approach and secure new business for the organization.
  • To determine effective and productive sales programs
  • Relationship building with all the current and prospective customers.
  • Update & upgrade knowledge and awareness of the facilities provided by the Hotel
Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:
  • Opera knowledge is a must
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to easily build rapport with internal and external clients
  • A \xe2\x80\x98quick thinker\xe2\x80\x99 with excellent problem-solving skills
  • A great team player, who proactively looks to assist where possible
  • Organised with a high attention to detail and the ability to coordinate a number of events simultaneously
  • Previous experience in sales environment, with good understanding of hotel operations preferred
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exposure to digital platforms
