Job Overview:
ME Visual WLL is seeking an experienced and dynamic Events Manager to lead our events team in Doha, Qatar. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing high-quality events while managing a team of event professionals. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and Arabic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
The Events Manager will work closely with clients, vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution, from concept to completion. The role requires strong leadership, creativity, and project management skills to deliver exceptional experiences that align with ME Visual WLL's standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities: Event Planning & Execution:
Oversee the end-to-end planning, organization, and execution of events, ensuring seamless delivery.
Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics to meet project goals.
Liaise with clients to understand their needs, propose creative event solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Work closely with internal teams, including production, AV, design, and logistics, to coordinate event requirements.
Ensure all events are executed in compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and local laws.
Team Leadership & Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of event coordinators, project managers, and on-ground staff.
Assign tasks, set deadlines, and monitor team performance to ensure efficiency and high-quality output.
Conduct training and development sessions to enhance team capabilities and keep up with industry trends.
Client & Vendor Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure the best terms and services.
Manage client expectations and resolve any issues proactively to ensure a positive experience.
Budget & Financial Management:
Develop and oversee event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
Monitor expenses, approve expenditures, and ensure financial accountability for all events.
Prepare financial reports, event summaries, and ROI analyses for management review.
Marketing & Business Development:
Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and sponsorships to expand ME Visual WLL's event portfolio.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies for events.
Represent ME Visual WLL at industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows.
Key Requirements:
Languages: Fluent in English and Arabic, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both.
Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in event management, preferably in Qatar or the GCC region.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the event industry, including production, logistics, and AV solutions.
Leadership Skills: Proven experience managing and motivating a team in a fast-paced environment.
Project Management: Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Budgeting & Negotiation: Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and vendor negotiations.
Problem-Solving: Ability to handle last-minute changes, challenges, and crises with a calm and solution-oriented approach.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in event management software, Microsoft Office, and digital collaboration tools.
Qatar Market Knowledge: Familiarity with local event regulations, venues, and supplier networks.
