Overview:

Join IDC's growing Events team as a

Conference Project Manager

and take the lead in delivering some of the region's most influential technology conferences and summits. We're looking for a passionate, client-focused B2B events professional with 5+ years of experience in managing conferences or exhibitions. Based in Riyadh, you'll collaborate with a talented regional team that brings IDC's vision to life across the Middle East, Turkiye, and Africa (META). Be part of a global team delivering 200+ technology events annually - shaping conversations that influence the future of business and technology across the region.

At IDC, you will:

Lead end-to-end planning and execution of conferences and summits across the META region. Work closely with internal teams, clients, and sponsors to develop compelling agendas and event experiences. Manage relationships with venues, vendors, and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery and adherence to budgets. Monitor profitability, track event KPIs, and ensure events meet both client expectations and IDC standards. Utilize social media and digital tools to support event marketing and drive audience engagement. Be a team player who contributes to a collaborative, high-energy environment and inspires junior colleagues.

Requirements:

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Minimum Experience: 5+ years of experience in managing B2B conferences, preferably within the technology, consulting, or media industries. Proven track record in client-facing roles, event budgeting, and multi-event project management. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Working knowledge of social media platforms for event marketing and engagement. Experience with virtual/hybrid event platforms (e.g., CVENT, Zoom, Hopin, On24) and live streaming technologies.
