Responsibilities:Event Coordination & Support: Assist in planning and coordinating all aspects of events, including client liaison, scheduling, and venue setup. Provide hands-on support during event days to ensure smooth operations.Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, helping manage their requirements and providing prompt updates on event details.Scheduling & Logistics: Coordinate logistics such as event layouts, seating plans, and equipment needs. Support in ensuring schedules align across technical, FOH, security, F&B and other departmentsAdministrative Support: Maintain accurate records, including contracts, event briefs, invoices etc. Handle paperwork and scheduling for events as needed.On-Site Support: Be present on event days to assist with client and supplier needs, address last-minute issues, and provide excellent service to enhance the event experience.Compliance & Safety: Ensure that events adhere to Dubai Operas policies and safety regulations, coordinating with security and facilities teams for safe and compliant event operations.Required SkillsA bachelors degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.2-3 years of experience in event coordination or a related role, preferably in the entertainment or hospitality sector.Knowledge of event planning processes and customer service best practices.Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members. Strong customer service orientation.Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and handle last-minute changes.Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail, especially under time constraints.Problem-Solving: Quick-thinking and resourceful, with a proactive approach to resolving issues that arise before or during events.
