Position: Temporary Business Development Officer (Full-Time)

Duration: August - October (2 Months)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary: AED 5,000/month

Lemon Tree Events is looking for a passionate and proactive Business Development Officer to join our team on a temporary full-time basis for 2 months. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced events company, ideal for someone who excels in sales, client communication, and proposal development. You'll contribute to exciting event projects and play a key role in supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct market research to identify potential leads and evaluate client needs. Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media. Set up meetings with potential clients to understand their requirements. Prepare and deliver presentations for clients using Canva or PowerPoint. Support in the creation of tailored proposals and event concept presentations. Enter data and assist with submission of event permits and related documentation. Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular reports on sales and financial performance. Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions and industry events. Negotiate/close deals and handle client feedback, complaints, or objections. Collaborate with internal teams (design, production, operations) to ensure client satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Sales Executive, Business Development Officer, or similar role. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in English (written and spoken). Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Canva. Familiarity with cold calling, lead generation, and CRM tools. Ability to prepare clean, professional client-facing presentations. Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time efficiently. Previous experience in the events or exhibitions industry is a plus.
