2. 3D Visualization & Rendering
High-Fidelity Renders:
Produce photorealistic 3D models and renders of event stages, VIP lounges, and exhibition booths using software like
3ds Max, SketchUp, or Rhino
.
Lighting Design:
Simulate complex event lighting (LEDs, wash lights, projections) within 3D environments to show the evening "ambiance."
Virtual Walkthroughs:
Develop 360-degree panoramas or video fly-throughs for high-stakes client pitches.
3. Technical Execution & Operations
Technical Drawings:
Prepare 2D CAD drawings (elevations, sections, and floor plans) for production teams and contractors.
Material Knowledge:
Select appropriate materials (fabrics, woods, acrylics) that meet fire safety codes and "fast-build" event requirements.
On-Site Supervision:
Oversee the "load-in" and setup phase to ensure the physical execution matches the approved digital visualization.
Skills & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Stage Design, or a related field.
Technical Proficiency:
Modeling:
SketchUp, 3ds Max, or AutoCAD.
Rendering:
V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape, or Twinmotion.
Post-Production:
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop is essential for "photoshopping" renders).
Industry Knowledge:
Deep understanding of temporary structures, modular exhibition systems, and event-specific building regulations.
Soft Skills:
Ability to work under tight "event-week" deadlines and pivot designs quickly based on client feedback.
