The Event Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing all events to enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and generate leads. This role involves managing physical, virtual, and hybrid events, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors, and measuring event ROI.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Strategy
Develop and execute the annual event marketing calendar aligned with company goals.
Plan, manage, and oversee all events, including webinars, trade shows, conferences, product launches, and sponsorships.
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure event messaging is aligned with brand strategy.
Identify target audience segments and tailor events for maximum engagement and lead generation.
Vendor & Budget Management
Manage relationships with event vendors, venues, and suppliers.
Negotiate contracts and ensure events are delivered on budget and on time.
Monitor event budgets, expenses, and ROI, providing regular reports to management.
Execution & Operations
Oversee event logistics, including registrations, catering, audiovisuals, branding, and staffing.
Manage event marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and PR promotion.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, health & safety standards, and corporate policies.
Use insights to optimize future events and improve ROI.
Provide post-event reports with recommendations for improvement.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
Lead a small event marketing team (if applicable) or coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Work closely with PR, digital marketing, sales, and design teams to ensure event success.
Represent the company professionally at industry conferences and networking events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
6+ years of experience in event marketing, preferably in fintech, forex, or financial services.
Proven experience managing large-scale events, trade shows, or corporate conferences.
Strong project management skills, including budgeting and vendor negotiation.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in event management software (Cvent, Eventbrite, HubSpot, or similar) and MS Office.
Ability to travel frequently for regional/global events.
Knowledge of digital event platforms and hybrid event execution is a plus.
