Job Description

The company providing a range of event services, from digital entertainment services to renting out of event equipment, is hiring for a position of Event Equipment Operator.

Job Purpose: Responsible for the set-up and production of entertainment services for events to the highest professional standard exceeding Client's expectations and delivering an excellent Customer Experience.

Potential candidate must have some photography skills with a DSLR Camera. Must have computer knowledge on computer, to connect networks, change settings as guided etc. Must be available on weekends and some weekdays, mostly evenings.

This is a fun, paid position with long-term potential.

Responsibilities:

Driving from storageoffice to an event venue. Installing and setting up equipment correctly with the help of an assistant. Equipment may include photo, video, printing, and backdrop items. To operate equipment correctly, as per training provided, in order to let guests get maximum positive emotions. To assist guests if there is no hostess. To build rapport with guests during an event, to have fun, and to energize them, in order to enhance their entertainment experience. Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise. Communicate them to management and support. If possible, to fix on the spot. Tearing down equipment by the end of an event, with help an assistant, and loading equipment back to a vehicle (van light vehicle). Driving back to the storageoffice and arrange back the equipment acordingly.
Personal Requirements

Good clear spoken English Hands-on, practical person who can take instruction easily. Flexible and adaptable person, capable of meeting work demands and working to tight turnaround times. Self-reliant person who can operate independently, work on his/her own initiative but is also a good team player. Well presentable person clean and tidy in appearance. Approachable person with a good manner and good customer service ethos. Driving license UAE Light vehicle. Can handle max 10-15 kg weights if assistant is not available.
