Job Description
The company providing a range of event services, from digital entertainment services to renting out of event equipment, is hiring for a position of Event Equipment Operator. Job Purpose: Responsible for the set-up and production of entertainment services for events to the highest professional standard exceeding Clients expectations and delivering an excellent Customer Experience. Potential candidate must have some photography skills with a DSLR Camera. Must have some computer knowledge on computer, to connect networks, change settings as guided etc. Must be available on weekends and some weekdays, mostly evenings. This is a fun, paid position with long term potential. Responsibilities:
Preferably fully vaccinated Application Question(s):
- Driving from storage\\office to an event venue.
- Installing and setting up equipment correctly with the help of an assistant. Equipment may include photo, video, printing and backdrop items.
- To operate equipment correctly, as per training provided, in order to let guests get maximum positive emotions. To assist guests if there is no hostess.
- To build rapport with guests during an event, to have fun and to energize them, in order to enhance their entertainment experience.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise. Communicate them to management and support. If possible, to fix on the spot.
- Tearing down equipment by the end of an event, with help an assistant, and loading equipment back to a vehicle (van \\ light vehicle).
- Driving back to the storage\\office and arrange back the equipment acordingly.
- Good clear spoken English
- Hands-on, practical person who can take instruction easily.
- Flexible and adaptable person, capable of meeting work demands and working to tight turnaround times.
- Self-reliant person who can operate independently, work on his/her own initiative but is also a good team player.
- Well presentable person clean and tidy in appearance.
- Approachable person with a good manner and good customer service ethos.
- Driving license UAE Light vehicle.
- Can handle max 10-15 kg weights if assistant is not available.
