The Estimator / Draftsman will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, technical drawings, and design visualizations for flooring, interiors, and related projects. The role requires strong skills in
AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Illustrator
to produce both technical and presentation drawings, while ensuring cost accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesEstimation
Review project specifications, BOQs, and client requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Analyze drawings, material requirements, and labor costs.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.
Prepare detailed estimation sheets and pricing proposals for management approval.
Ensure accuracy in quantity take-offs and pricing within deadlines.
Drafting & Design Support
Prepare
AutoCAD drawings
(layouts, shop drawings, detailed sections) as per project requirements.
Use
Photoshop and Illustrator
to create presentation boards, design concepts, and visualizations for client approval.
Update drawings as per design changes or client feedback.
Support the sales/project team with technical inputs during client meetings.
Coordination & Documentation
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure drawings match site conditions.
Maintain an organized library of drawings, estimates, and supplier data.
Ensure compliance with company standards and client specifications.
Assist in preparing tender documents, quotations, and proposals.
Skills & Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in estimation and drafting (UAE experience preferred).
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
(2D essential; 3D is a plus).
Strong skills in
Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
for presentation work.
Knowledge of materials (flooring, interiors, joinery, or fit-out works).
Good mathematical and analytical skills for cost estimation.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
