Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Estimator

who will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, timelines, and subcontractor quotations. The estimator will work closely with the sales and production team to ensure competitive pricing, timely submissions, and profitable project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and client requirements. Calculate material quantities, labor hours, and cost of resources for each project. Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and commercial proposals. Source and negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive costing. Coordinate with the sales/production team to finalize pricing and timeline. Maintain costing database, supplier lists, and updated material pricing. Support the project team with revisions, change orders, and updated estimates. Ensure timely submission of tenders/quotations to clients. Prepare cost comparison reports and maintain project costing sheets. Track awarded jobs and monitor margin to ensure profitability.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Estimator in

signage / interior fit-out / construction / manufacturing

(industry as per your business). Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD / drawings reading (if applicable). Knowledge of materials, suppliers, and market pricing. Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple projects. Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with ERP/Zoho/CRM systems (add your tools if required). UAE market experience (beneficial)

Education

Diploma/Degree in Engineering / Architecture / Quantity Surveying / relevant field.
