We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in interior fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and pricing for projects, ensuring competitiveness while maintaining profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Study project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates. Prepare
Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
and material take-offs. Request, collect, and evaluatequotations from suppliers and subcontractors
. Analyze project risks, materials, labor, and time requirements to provide cost-effective solutions. Collaborate with the design and project management team to ensure estimates align with project requirements. Prepare detailedcost breakdowns
for tender submissions. Maintain updated cost databases of materials, suppliers, and subcontractors. Support the commercial and procurement team in negotiations with vendors. Provide value engineering options to optimize project costs. Assist in post-tender clarifications and negotiations.Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
3-5 years of UAE experience
as an Estimator in interior fit-out/joinery. Proficiency inAutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software
. Strong knowledge ofmaterials, joinery, furniture, and finishes
used in fit-out. Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and negotiation skills.Job Type: Full-time
