Job Description
Estimator - Joinery / Fit-Out
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all aspects of the project have been included.
2. Analyses drawings, prepare BOQ with specifications.
3. Prepare the estimation with detailed break up possibly using estimation models and tools.
4. Coordinate with subcontractors to get the price for various elements within the project.
5. Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
6. Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposal, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
7. Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
8. Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
9. Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
10. Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data
11. Understanding drawings and joinery technical issues
12. Visiting sites to gather information needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree or Diploma in a related field Must have successfully completed major projects with reputable clients.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years work experience in joinery / fit out in a well-established organization in a similar position (at least 2 years of it in UAE).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
