Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Support the technical sales process by working closely with the sales team. Prepare estimates and quotations for door hardware in accordance with architectural floor plans and Civil Defence requirements for fire-rated doors. Prepare door hardware schedules and technical specifications for consultants. Develop and maintain master key schedules. Prepare project documentation, including bills of quantities, material submittals, prequalification documents, operation and maintenance manuals, and other required close-out documents for clients. Provide customer support by assisting in cost optimisation and value engineering, ensuring value for money while meeting required standards and quality. Perform risk assessment, value management, and cost control activities. Develop product specifications and enhance Laidlaw Gulf brand awareness across the region. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and support the development of new customers. Collaborate with Laidlaw Gulf staff as a unified team to grow the business and achieve competitive advantage through best-in-class service and full implementation of the group service philosophy. Prepare technical and material submittals for quoted projects. Prepare technical data sheets for new products. Liaise with Sales Managers to attend meetings and provide technical coordination with architects and project coordinators. Prepare and update weekly quotation and enquiry reports. Assist the General Manager in ensuring the smooth running of operations.
