. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and supporting tender submissions for fire protection projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate cost estimates for firefighting systems (sprinklers, hydrants, pumps, suppression systems, etc.).
Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to determine material, labor, and time requirements.
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
Support tender submissions with technical and commercial inputs.
Ensure compliance with NFPA, civil defense codes, and relevant standards.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to optimize cost efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum
2 years of experience
in estimation for firefighting systems.
Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and local civil defense requirements.
Proficiency in MS Office and estimation software.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
