Require Estimator for steel fabrication industry who can Study the scope of work, create the estimated Bill of quantities. Evaluate all contract documents including all bid drawings, read and interpret drawings and sketches. Identifying and communicating potential design problems. Understanding specifications and general conditions. Attending Pre-bid site visits. Prepare detailed visit report and attending clarification meetings with client if required. Prepare & Send out RFQ for (materials, vendors & subcontractors), follow-up, prepare technical evaluation sheet, send & acquire responses and compliance sheets to prepare quotation comparison sheet. Advise the best quotation on the basis of the technical proposals submitted compliance to scope of work and delivery period of long lead items. After sending technical or/and commercial and during the course of technical and commercial evaluation by the Client, prepare the reply to the clarification requests issued by the Client regarding the submitted tender and attend post clarification meetings when required. Monitoring & Recording Cost comparison between Estimated and Actual spent, implement improvement action (wherever required) Skills Should be well versed in AutoCAD (Solidworks & Ansys will be advantage) and responsible for making detailed shop drawings for production and As-built drawings for Approval. Has Good Knowledge of Production Processes, Machines & Steel Sections Experience Has Experience in Sheet Metal Fabrication particularly in Cable Trays, Electrical Enclosures, Medium to Light Fabrication Industry having worked with Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium.. • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Preferred / Mechanical Draftsman Certificate Acceptable
• Solidworks, AutoCAD (required)
