Position:

Estimator - Joinery / Fit-Out

Experience:

Minimum 3 years in Joinery / Interior Fit-Out industry (UAE experience preferred)

The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for joinery, furniture, and interior fit-out projects. The role involves reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensuring competitive and profitable pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender documents. Prepare detailed cost estimates for joinery, furniture, and interior fit-out works. Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), material take-offs, and cost breakdowns. Ensure all estimations align with project requirements and client expectations. Assist in value engineering and provide cost-saving solutions where applicable. Coordinate with the design, procurement, and production teams for pricing accuracy. Support management during tender review meetings and post-tender clarifications. Maintain an updated database of suppliers, materials, and pricing. Participate in cost comparison, budgeting, and project planning activities.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Interior Design / Quantity Surveying or related field. Minimum

3-5 years of UAE experience

in

Joinery / Fit-Out estimation

. Strong knowledge of joinery materials, production methods, and market pricing. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software. Good understanding of technical drawings and specifications. Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
