We are looking for a talented Estimator to join our team in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for modular buildings, including structure, MEP, steel fabrication, interior fit-out, joinery, finishes, transportation, and installation.

Review project specifications, tender documents, and drawings to identify scope, requirements, and risks.

Calculate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs with accuracy.

Develop and maintain cost databases specific to modular construction, steel fabrication, and fit-out works.

Prepare tender submissions, BOQs, and cost breakdowns within deadlines.

Coordinate with procurement for material/supplier quotations and subcontractor pricing.

Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals.

Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to validate quantities and construction methods.

Clarify queries with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors when required.

Work closely with project managers to align estimation with execution plans.

Identify cost risks and propose alternatives to reduce costs without compromising quality.

Suggest design and material optimization for modular and interior systems.

Support management in decision-making through comparative cost studies.

Maintain updated records of all tenders, quotations, and pricing information.

Prepare post-tender analysis, cost comparisons, and negotiation support.

Provide periodic cost reports for ongoing and upcoming projects.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.

3-7 years of relevant experience in estimation, preferably in modular construction, prefabrication, steel fabrication, or interior fit-out projects.

Strong knowledge of modular construction techniques, materials, and cost drivers.

Proficiency in estimation software (Excel, AutoCAD; BIM knowledge is an advantage).

Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

Good negotiation and communication skills.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tenders simultaneously.
