Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market prices, new fabrication techniques, and available materials.Risk Assessment:
Identify potential risks and cost variances throughout the project lifecycle and recommend appropriate adjustments.Record Keeping:
Document all cost-related activities, maintain detailed cost databases, and keep records for future analysis.Essential Skills:
Analytical Skills:
The ability to assess complex project requirements and analyze data to prepare accurate cost estimates.Technical Proficiency:
A strong understanding of exhibition fabrication techniques, materials (like carpentry and metal), and relevant software, such as AutoCAD/SketchUp.Negotiation Skills:
Expertise in negotiating costs and contracts with vendors and subcontractors to achieve favorable pricing.Communication Skills:
The ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, designers, and suppliers.Attention to Detail:
Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for accurate costings, budget tracking, and risk identification.Time Management:
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.Job Type: Full-time
