Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-driven

Estimator

with proven experience in the

interior fit-out industry

. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates for luxury interior projects by analyzing architectural drawings, specifications, BOQs, and site conditions. The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial awareness, material knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with design, procurement, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out projects across residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors. Read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings, specifications, and material schedules. Perform quantity take-offs for civil, joinery, MEP, finishes, and FF&E elements. Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors; analyze and compare costs. Develop and maintain a cost database for labor, materials, and subcontractor pricing. Prepare tender submissions, pricing documents, and variation estimates. Attend pre- and post-tender meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams. Collaborate with design, procurement, and project teams to align estimates with actual site conditions and execution plans. Monitor cost trends and advise on cost-saving alternatives. Revise estimates as drawings or scope evolve during the design development phase.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree , Quantity Surveying, or Interior Architecture. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in estimation within the

interior fit-out or turnkey contracting industry

. Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and joinery used in high-end interiors. Familiarity with local market rates and subcontractor networks. Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, CostX, Bluebeam). Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred:

Experience in hospitality, luxury retail, or premium residential interiors. Knowledge of MEP and joinery estimation is a plus. Membership in RICS or equivalent professional body (optional but preferred).

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
