Role Overview:

As an

Estimator

, you will be responsible for preparing

BOQs

(Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates for custom-built display stands, kiosks, exhibition booths, and similar structures made from materials such as wood, acrylic, metal, LED lighting, and more. You will work closely with production and design teams to ensure accurate and cost-effective estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate

BOQs

and cost estimates based on concept sketches, technical drawings, and specifications. Collaborate with production and design teams to gather project details and propose cost-effective solutions. Analyze project requirements to determine labor, material, equipment, and time needs. Source and obtain competitive quotes from suppliers and contractors within specified timelines. Research and analyze the costs of materials, transportation, labor, and other components. Build and maintain relationships with

vendors

suppliers

, and

subcontractors

. Assist with bidding for new contracts and support procurement and purchasing activities. Monitor ongoing project costs and ensure they remain within budget throughout execution. Prepare and submit detailed quotations and cost breakdowns for client approvals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Diploma or Degree in

Civil Engineering

or a related technical field.

Experience:

Minimum of

2 years

of experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor in the

Signage

,

Exhibition

,

Interior Fit-Out

, or

Advertising

industry.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in

AutoCAD

is

essential

. Strong command of

MS Excel

,

Word

, and estimating software/tools. Excellent

negotiation

and

analytical

skills to secure the best pricing. High attention to detail, strong

organizational

skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Good

verbal

and

written communication

skills.
