The Role

Our Multi National Project & Cost Management Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced consultant Estimator to join their team in Dubai or Abu Dhabi to work on fit out, refurbishment and base build projects in the Emirates. Successful candidates will have a proven background as an Estimator on fit out, refurbishment and base build construction projects in the UAE and the wider GCC. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in recognised consultancy companies previously This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent placement with our client. Key Responsibilities: o Pre-contract measurement and cost planning o Estimating Quantity Surveyor to join a dedicated office based team focused on the preparation of estimates from Pre-Concept deign stage through to the production of Bill of Quantities for tendering purposes. o Proficient in taking off quantities and the preparation of Bill of Quantities in accordance with POMI, CESMM 3 and 4 and NRM rules of measurement across all disciplines - Architectural, Structural, Interior Design and MEP engineering installations. o Sound market knowledge and estimating / cost modelling capability from early pre-contract concept design stage, continuing through all the stages of the design phase including the pricing of the final tender set of Bills of Quantities (PTE). o Has a positive attitude and is disciplined. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. o Strong communication and interpersonal skills and recognised as a positive, collaborator who shares knowledge freely and offers support to peers and seniors.



Requirements

Estimator Experience:

o Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or similar relevant subject o Minimum 5 years with a Consultancy or Contractor in the Middle East region o Preference given to profiles coming from a Consultancy company background - contractor profiles will be considered o Proficiency in the use of estimation software (e.g. Bluebeam, CostX, or similar) and Microsoft Excel and Word. o Ability to abstract quantity takeoffs, update cost estimates, and visualize cost data within a 3D model and experience with the use of Revit software
