Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate cost estimates Perform quantity take-offs and prepare detailed BOQs Develop cost breakdowns Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure thorough and timely bid submissions Monitor market trends, labor rates, and material costs
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience as an estimator in the construction indusrty Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and codes Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HCSS, Bluebeam, or similar tools) Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines
