Analyze project specifications, architectural drawings, and exhibition design documents to determine the scope of work for fitout and exhibition projects, ensuring clarity on requirements.

Develop accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for fitout and exhibition works, including materials, quantities, and labor costs for all components like partitions, signage, flooring, and displays.

Conduct site visits to verify actual site conditions and ensure estimates align with the physical space, including measuring for exhibition setups, furniture layouts, and installations.

Develop 2D drawings and layout plans for fitouts and exhibition setups based on the project's design brief, client requirements, and site conditions.

Modify and revise drawings to incorporate feedback from clients, consultants, and project managers, ensuring that changes align with project goals and timelines.

Ensure all fitout and exhibition designs, drawings, and estimates comply with local building codes, exhibition venue guidelines, and industry-specific standards.

Work closely with architects, designers, and project managers to convert design concepts into buildable and cost-effective fitout and exhibition plans.

Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services, including exhibition structures, lighting, furniture, and finishes.

Analyze quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating the best value for materials, services, and labor, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining project quality.

Provide support to clients by answering questions regarding costs, project timelines, material options, and any scope adjustments in a clear and professional manner.

Identify potential project risks (such as cost fluctuations or material shortages) and proactively incorporate contingency plans to safeguard the project budget and schedule.

Keep up-to-date with industry trends, material price changes, and new technologies to refine cost estimation strategies and ensure accurate pricing for both fitout and exhibition works.

Collaborate with project managers and architects to ensure that all estimates are aligned with project timelines, objectives, and overall feasibility.

Prepare comprehensive cost estimation reports for submission to management, outlining assumptions, exclusions, and rationale behind cost estimates for fitout and exhibition projects.

Contribute to the preparation of tender submissions, ensuring that estimates for fitout and exhibition works are competitive and accurately reflect the scope of work.
