1. JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Estimator cum Sales Engineer

We undertake all kinds of Civil & and MEP maintenance works including partitioning, false ceiling, flooring, wall tiling, painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, steel and aluminum fabrication, interior decorations, landscaping, and A/C maintenance for both domestic and commercial sectors. 3. ABOUT ROLE We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Estimator cum Sales Engineer to join our interior design company. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in estimating project costs, preparing quotations, and actively engaging with clients to promote our interior design solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. 4. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 4.1. Sales, Requirement Gathering, BOQ Preparation & Estimation \xe2\x96\xaa Create new sales (Fit-out, MEP & Civil work) and marketing strategies that target B2B customers.
\xe2\x96\xaa Follow-ups, negotiations, and closing of sales.
\xe2\x96\xaa Receiving and handling inquiries by telephone calls and emails from customers.
\xe2\x96\xaa Organizing the site visits with clients based on the enquiries.
\xe2\x96\xaa Make necessary preparations before the site visit.
\xe2\x96\xaa BOQ preparation is based on the requirements gathered, risks identified, and scope of work.
\xe2\x96\xaa Estimate cost and time for the BOQ and scope of work identified.
\xe2\x96\xaa Identify the workforce requirement for the project.
\xe2\x96\xaa Preparation of project proposals and quotations.
\xe2\x96\xaa Documentation of the material/activity pricing risks for future use.
\xe2\x96\xaa Identify areas where we can improve customer satisfaction and repeat business, then communicate those issues and possible solutions to upper management.
\xe2\x96\xaa Set and achieve sales goals.
\xe2\x96\xaa Promote the company\'s interior design services to potential clients through effective communication and presentations.
\xe2\x96\xaa Negotiate terms and contracts with clients, ensuring a win-win situation for both parties.
\xe2\x96\xaa Arrange all the necessary prerequisites for the project (Permissions, Approvals). 4.2. Client Engagement \xe2\x96\xaa Actively engage with potential clients to understand their interior design needs and preferences.
\xe2\x96\xaa Provide knowledgeable guidance and recommendations to clients on suitable design solutions.
\xe2\x96\xaa Communicate and get confirmation of the workforce availability and schedule.
\xe2\x96\xaa Coordinate the work with the Client and workforce (Internal Team/External Supplier).
\xe2\x96\xaa Complete all the document works required (E.g. Risk Assessment Form & Method Statement).

Site Supervising \xe2\x96\xaa The main priority is safety and responsibility to motivate the workers to do the work in a disciplined way. \xe2\x96\xaa Provide daily safety instructions to the workers.
\xe2\x96\xaa Assessing various safety hazards and reporting them to the concerned person/team.
\xe2\x96\xaa Responsible for arranging the necessary permissions to perform the job at the site.
\xe2\x96\xaa Make sure HSE/legal/client rules and regulations are followed.
\xe2\x96\xaa Make sure adequate quality is maintained in every stage of the work.
\xe2\x96\xaa Make sure the site is clean and safe (Maintain proper housekeeping)
\xe2\x96\xaa Manage the work progress without scope creep and report the progress regularly.
\xe2\x96\xaa Manage the project and work site as per the standards until sign-off from the Client. 5. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS 5.1. Essential qualifications \xe2\x96\xaa Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical)
\xe2\x96\xaa 4 to 6 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Estimator Site Supervising, and Project Management. 5.2. Key competencies \xe2\x96\xaa Solid knowledge of Joinery, Civil Works, MEP, HVAC, and Project Coordination.
\xe2\x96\xaa Hands-on experience in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
\xe2\x96\xaa Experience in using computers, the internet, and search engines like Google.
\xe2\x96\xaa Good understanding of Business Activities. 5.3. Other skills and abilities \xe2\x96\xaa Strong leadership and people management skills.
\xe2\x96\xaa Excellent time management & communication skills.
\xe2\x96\xaa Service-minded, pro-active & positive attitude.
\xe2\x96\xaa Self-driven, Logical Thinking.
