The

Estimator

will be responsible for analyzing architectural drawings, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals for

facade and aluminum systems

projects. This role requires in-depth industry knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Review tender documents including drawings, specifications, and BOQs. Prepare detailed cost estimates for aluminum and facade systems including materials, labor, fabrication, and installation. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure accurate scope coverage. Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals within deadlines. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing. Participate in post-tender clarifications, value engineering, and negotiations as required. Maintain updated records of pricing, suppliers, and historical project data for reference. Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as necessary.

Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. 3+ years of estimating experience in the

aluminum, curtain wall, or facade industry.

Strong understanding of facade systems, aluminum profiles, glazing, cladding materials, and fabrication processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, Planswift, or equivalent). Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
