Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor / Estimator with a strong background in interior design and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with reputable interior design or fit-out companies, with comprehensive knowledge of local materials, suppliers, pricing, and estimation procedures. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, managing procurement processes, and ensuring project budget adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

Extract quantities from AutoCAD drawings and compile detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ). Compare BOQ with on-site conditions and prepare discrepancy reports. Estimate material quantities, labor, and costs to assess project feasibility. Prepare and submit quotations, pricing sheets, BOQs, and technical submittals. Source and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations. Manage bidding and tendering processes, including cost analyses. Oversee invoice processes, both internal and external. Maintain and archive project documentation, including invoices and technical files. Prepare RFIs for clarifications, missing information, or conflicts within project data. Liaise effectively with consultants, clients, site engineers, and subcontractors. Develop and submit Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Calculation Sheets. Coordinate project requirements, providing technical support to team members. Generate daily progress reports and facilitate clear communication with project managers. Ensure all work complies with project specifications, budgets, and schedules. Handle documentation related to claims, variation orders, and project milestones.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel. Strong understanding of market prices, sourcing materials, and local vendors. Excellent command of written and spoken English. Prior experience in interior design estimation is highly advantageous. Ability to interpret design drawings and deliver cost-effective solutions.

Salary Range:

AED 3,000 - AED 5,000 per month

Additional Requirements:

Able to reliably commute to Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate before starting. Minimum of 3 years' experience in estimation. Location: Abu Dhabi
