Inspect vehicles to assess damage or maintenance/service requirements.
Accurately estimate labor, parts, and repair costs using estimating software.
Prepare detailed repair/service quotations for customers and insurance companies.
Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, costs, and timelines.
Liaise with technicians to confirm diagnosis and scope of work.
Coordinate with insurance adjusters and handle claims documentation.
Update estimates based on additional findings or customer requests.
Ensure all estimates are aligned with company pricing structures and guidelines.
Maintain records of all estimates and customer communications.
Follow up with customers to explain estimates and secure approvals.
Qualifications:
Must have proven experience as an Estimator, Service Advisor, or in a similar role within an automotive repair, maintenance, or collision center.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
Familiarity with estimating software (e.g., CCC ONE, Mitchell, Audatex) and workshop management systems.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
