Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Analyze tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates. Conduct quantity take-offs and pricing for civil, structural, and MEP works. Assess labor, material, and subcontractor costs to ensure competitive bids. Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with internal teams to finalize estimates. Track market rates and maintain updated cost databases. Prepare and submit commercial and technical proposals per tender requirements. Ensure compliance with contracting regulations and specifications. Identify risks and propose value engineering solutions for cost optimization.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. Minimum
5 years
of experience in construction cost estimation within a contracting company. Strong understanding of BOQs, tender processes, and market rates. Proficiency in estimation software (CCS Candy, AutoCAD, PlanSwift, MS Excel). Ability to analyze costs and prepare competitive bid proposals. Excellent attention to detail, negotiation, and communication skills.Job Type: Full-time
