Oversee the full tender cycle--from reviewing project information to delivering accurate, competitive commercial submissions--while guiding a small team and collaborating closely with commercial, operations, and procurement teams.
What You Bring
Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a related discipline.
8-12 years' experience in estimation/costing for interior fit-out projects.
Proven leadership experience within an estimation or pre-construction team.
Strong understanding of fit-out components: civil works, finishes, joinery, MEP, and FF&E.
Excellent analytical, commercial, negotiation, and communication skills.
High attention to detail and strong technical competence with estimation tools/ERP systems.
Knowledge of regional construction regulations (UAE/KSA is a plus).
Solid grasp of commercial and financial drivers in project delivery.
What You'll Do
Lead and develop the estimation team, assigning workloads and ensuring consistent quality.
Manage the entire tendering process, interpreting project documents and validating quantities, pricing, and cost structures.
Prepare complete technical and commercial submissions that align with project scope and company strategy.
Work with internal stakeholders to clarify scope assumptions and align cost strategies.
Build strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, securing competitive market pricing.
Identify risks, opportunities, and value-engineering options for each bid.
Support senior management during pricing reviews and tender negotiations.
Maintain up-to-date cost data, pricing benchmarks, and market intelligence.
Track tender outcomes and drive continuous improvements in estimating practices.
