Job Description
We are seeking a skilled
LV Switchgear Estimation Engineer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, technical evaluations, and quotations for LV switchgear, control panels, and related electrical systems in line with project specifications and client requirements.NOTE : Apply only if you have experience in LV Switchgear estimation field at least 3-4 year in UAE , Other candidates will not be considered.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates. Perform technical evaluations of client requirements and propose suitable switchgear solutions. Prepare quotations, BOQs, and compliance statements. Coordinate with suppliers for material pricing, lead times, and technical clarifications. Work closely with the sales, design, and projects teams to ensure smooth handover of awarded jobs. Support in value engineering and cost optimization. Ensure all estimates comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field. 3-4 years of experience in
estimation and costing of LV switchgear, MCCs, DBs, SMDBs, and control panels
. Strong knowledge of IEC standards, local authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, FEWA, etc.). Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software. Familiarity with switchgear components (ACBs, MCCBs, MCBs, relays, busbars, etc.) from leading manufacturers (Schneider, ABB, Siemens, LS, etc.). Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
