Job Description

Prepare, review, and submit detailed technical and commercial proposals and projects. Analyze project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to develop an accurate scope of work and technical solutions. Coordinate with engineering, design, procurement, and project management teams to gather necessary inputs for proposals. Develop cost estimates and pricing strategies in coordination with the commercial team. Ensure proposals comply with client requirements, industry standards, and company policies. Identify project risks and prepare mitigation strategies within proposals. Maintain a repository of technical documents, standard specifications, and past proposal templates. Prepare RFQ request for quotation and enquiry by email/letter/telephone received from the customer. Study and understand the actual and exact requirements of the customer. read and understand the machining processes involved in the product through drawings. take off the bill of materials from the customer's input drawing/document for costing. perform the cost estimation for raw material, machining time/cost, fabrication time/cost, surface finish time/cost, and transportation time/cost. prepare and develop the technical proposal and presentation for tender/ bid submission. responsible for knowledge/data transfer from the customer to the design team. follow up project and order status, and update the management/customers. responsible for submitting an offer for the RFQ received to the maximum extent. To be responsible for calculating and analyzing the cost incurred due to uncertainties in the project and ensuring that the cost is covered. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with design and engineering software (AutoCAD, process simulation tools). Knowledge of local and international environmental regulations and standards. Proven experience (2+ years) in automobile industry proposals or engineering. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of proposal management software is a plus.
