Job Description
Responsibilities: As a EsriGIS Software Engineer, you are independently responsible for performing technical and professional work in the day-to-day management and maintenance of the Geographic Information System (GIS) and performing a broad range of technically complex projects which includes design, architecture, development and maintenance of large-scale geo-coding/geo-spatial applications. This position requires a strong engineer with independent and collaborative skills The successful candidate will focus on applying solutions to maximize support across clients.
- Acquire client/project requirements, perform need analysis and draft functional design and specification reports.
- Experience Must with web development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, and/or ASP.NET
- Solid understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS), SQL, and spatial databases
- Provide database application support to large network and administer efficient SQL database servers and evaluate all designs and implement applicable GIS software across multiple databases.
- Evaluate designs and codes for product portfolio of organization and develop and maintain optimal standards for data
- Provide maintenance and support of GIS applications and mapping systems
- Develop GIS mapping applications and geoprocessing tools
- Perform application development tasks with Scrum based Agile methodology and complete tasks within time and scope while maintaining high standards
- Deploy completed solution on staging and production environment and ensure quality, defect- free system and seamless integration
- Provide off and on-site maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms
- 3-5 Years Minimum of proficient Programming experience
- 2-3 Years Minimum GIS or spatial data experience
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science, Programming, or any related field
- Development experience with ArcGIS JavaScript API and opensource API such as Leaflet and Open layers.
- Experience with geoprocessing tools is an added advantage.
- Must have experience with web programming in asp.net MVC entity framework and front-end frameworks such as bootstrap and Angular JS/Angular
- Knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise Applications such as Survey123, Workforce, Experience Builder, ESRI Dashboard and Web App builder is an added advantage
- Experience with GIS analysis and workflow
- Knowledge in data conversion and maintenance
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
