We're seeking a skilled ESRI 3D GIS consultant. In this role, you'll be instrumental in creating and managing 3D geospatial data to support advanced urban visualization and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain 3D city models using ESRI ArcGIS
Create and optimize 3D Tiles datasets for efficient streaming and visualization
Integrate various geospatial data sources into cohesive 3D city representations
Implement and manage workflows for updating and maintaining 3D city models
Collaborate with urban planners and designers to support decision-making processes
Develop custom tools and scripts to enhance 3D data processing capabilities
Ensure data quality and accuracy in 3D geospatial representations
Integrate standard machine learning file outputs with spatial data for advanced urban analytics
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geomatics, Computer Science or related field
6 to 8 years of experience in GIS with a focus on 3D mapping and modeling
Strong knowledge of 3D Tiles specification and implementation
Advanced skills in ESRI ArcGIS, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp and CityEngine)
Familiarity with web-based 3D visualization libraries (e.g., Cesium, ArcGIS API for JavaScript)
Understanding of CityGML and other 3D geospatial data standards
* Experience with LiDAR data processing and point cloud management is a plus
