The Role
Our client, a leading educational establishment in Ajman has an exciting opportunity for the role of an E-service Manager Manager (UAE National) ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead the development of e-learning enabling all staff/faculty to feel confident in its delivery. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work in partnership with the deans and managers to support the drive of the university digital environment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop the annual plan for this area of work that supports the university\xe2\x80\x99s strategic plan. \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate with service provider on the used technology and make sure it is functioning as expected. \xe2\x80\xa2 Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort. \xe2\x80\xa2 Coach and help develop team members; Motivate team members and help resolve dysfunctional behavior and facilitate problem solving and collaboration. \xe2\x80\xa2 Intervene when necessary to aid the team in resolving issues and ensures effective technology strategic planning and implementation and ensures discussions and decisions lead toward closure. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare Agendas, held bi-weekly meetings and send the meeting minutes for all of my team members. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assure that the team members have the necessary technical education and training to effectively participate on the team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Encourage creativity and skills improvement. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist preparing the Office of Information Technology budget. \xe2\x80\xa2 Contribute to the development and implementation of long-term plans, goals and objectives to achieve section\xe2\x80\x99s technology priorities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan for and arrange system patches and building block upgrades. \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan for and organize all usage scenarios of the LMS. \xe2\x80\xa2 Content copying of already developed courses. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop and maintain LMS databases and integration with other systems. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work with other team members to update and implement disaster recovery plans. \xe2\x80\xa2 Analyze processes to find areas in which improvements can be made and efficiencies gained.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor\'s degree in a computer-related field such as computer science or computer engineering. \xe2\x80\xa2 6 years of related experience. \xe2\x80\xa2 Professional/Job Related Certificates KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of PC hardware and software troubleshooting methods and practices. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge with LMS Moodle system. \xe2\x80\xa2 Comfortable interacting with people of various cultures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to effectively coordinate multiple tasks and observe to deadlines. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to interact with the IT Management following the appropriate policies and procedures as documented in the office. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to motivate people. \xe2\x80\xa2 Accuracy with record keeping. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good spoken and written communication skills in both languages, English and Arabic. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to plan and prioritize your own work and other people\'s. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work under pressure. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to make effective judgments on available data. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge in troubleshooting. \xe2\x80\xa2 Leadership, Management skills.
