Equity Analyst

(GCC Markets)

Role Purpose

: Analyst is responsible to identify company and sector-specific drivers and utilize fundamental valuation skills to provide impacting research and generate trading ideas, whilst staying abreast of industry news and catalysts to assess and relay their potential impact on equity securities. This role is based in

Sharjah.

Role Responsibilities

:

Gathering and assessing securities data including industry-related stocks. Performing financial analyses of companies under coverage. Writing equity research reports that conveys the results of the valuation process and the investment recommendation. Updating financial models and investment recommendations based on industry developments and stock market directions. Research securities of target industries and companies to provide investment recommendations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial services industry happenings and current events. Monitoring industry and market trends for changes and investment opportunities. Analysing company financial reports to determine the market performance of existing securities. Developing and delivering investment reports to the financial manager. Providing direction and expert advice on securities to buy, sell, or hold. Staying up to date with the latest industry news including company sales and mergers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or any other related field.

CFA

is a plus would-be a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A minimum of 3 years' experience as an equity analyst in a related industry. Ability to spot and track stock market trends, and act on investment opportunities. Detailed knowledge of financial services platforms including Bloomberg. Profound understanding of GCC equity markets. In addition, a deep understanding of fundamental analysis, financial modelling, asset allocation, and strategy research.
