Job Description

Operates and maintains a variety of vehicles and other equipment. Loads and unloads supplies and equipment from ships, docks, warehouses, motor vehicles, and moves hazardous materials as required into machinery for recycling, such as box crushers, or conveyor belts. Operator may read and interpret grade and slope stakes and simple plans, and may grease, adjust, and make emergency repairs to equipment.

Motor Vehicle Operator's License and Host nation Heavy Duty Driver's License. o High school degree or equivalent required o Five years truck driving experience required o Must be able to read/write and speak English o 3 Years' Experience in driving heavy equipment o Leadership and management skills, including a professional demeanor, are required. o Strong interpersonal skills are required. o Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment is required. o Ability to prioritize responsibilities in order to handle a demanding workload is required. o Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is required. o Advanced ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written form, is required. o High-level organizational and planning skills, so that workflow is managed efficiently and accurately is required o Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions o Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations.
