About the role

Reporting and maintaining of all Airfield equipment which includes operational status, necessary maintenance, and repairs for all equipment as per company policies. Responsible for day-to-day operation of various types of heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, and backhoes to ensure smooth operation as per company policies. Perform site supervision, coordination, and inspection of outsourced projects to ensure quality standards are met to generate daily/weekly management reports. Responsible for the spare's usage and replenishment at DIA/HIA as per standard procedures. Maintain Taxiway, Runway, and apron markings as per the standards without affecting day-to-day operations as per standard procedures. Perform rubber removal activities to maintain runway friction level as per the standards. Monitor and coordinate with HIA safety for all the runway closure markers and safety barriers during the closure activities as per standard procedures. Update and monitor maintenance on Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) as per the standard operating procedures. Inspect and record all the maintenance on Mobile Airfield Lighting Maintenance Management System (MALMS) for day-to-day operations as per the standard operating procedures.
Coordinate with all stakeholders such as HIA Safety, Air Traffic Controller (ATC), Qatar Aviation Services (OAS), and outsourced term contractor for all associated works such as painting, rubber removal, paint removal, oil spillage cleaning as per management and standard procedures.
Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure maintenance is carried out to meet operational requirements. Perform periodic inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure safety standards are met as per company policies. Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications

About you

High School Qualification with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience

OR

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 1 year of job-related experience

Ability to supervise a team of in-house technicians and outsourced vendors. Ability to schedule personnel under his custodial care. Ability to prepare reports of all nature. Excellent spoken/written communication skills in English language and at all levels. Awareness of airport operational restraints. Observant nature during routine inspections. Well versed with all relevant statutory regulations and requirements. Good leadership qualities with a focus on customer-oriented service. Responsible attitude towards work.
