Job Summary:
The EOM (Engineering Operations and Maintenance) Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and optimization of engineering systems, equipment, and facilities. This role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The EOM Engineer works closely with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime, improve reliability, and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations & Maintenance:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and operational systems.
• Monitor equipment performance and diagnose faults to ensure minimal downtime.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and calibration of systems to maintain optimal functionality.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and implement corrective actions promptly.

2. Engineering Support & Troubleshooting:

• Analyze system failures and recommend engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to improve system reliability.
• Support the installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of equipment.
• Utilize predictive maintenance tools (vibration analysis, thermal imaging, etc.) to identify potential issues.

3. Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure all operations comply with industry standards (ISO, OSHA, ANSI, etc.).
• Follow safety protocols and participate in risk assessments and audits.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.

4. Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Implement lean manufacturing and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) principles.
• Recommend upgrades or modifications to improve system performance.

5. Team Collaboration & Reporting:

• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for maintenance activities.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
• Prepare reports on equipment performance, maintenance logs, and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in operations & maintenance, preferably in [industry, e.g., manufacturing, oil & gas, power plants].
• Certifications in maintenance (e.g., CMRP, PMP) or relevant technical training are a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, PLCs, HVAC, or hydraulics/pneumatics.
• Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and diagnostic tools.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SCADA, or other engineering software is advantageous.
