Responsibility

Develop and implement

Environmental Management Plans (EMPs)

in line with project and legal requirements. Ensure compliance with

Qatar environmental laws

,

MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment)

regulations, and international standards (e.g., ISO 14001). Conduct

Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)

and prepare reports for approval. Monitor and report

air quality, noise levels, water, soil, and waste management

on project sites. Identify potential environmental risks and recommend mitigation measures. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and government bodies on environmental compliance. Implement and monitor

waste management plans

, including segregation, recycling, and disposal procedures. Ensure

hazardous material handling

and storage is done in line with legal and environmental safety practices. Prepare

environmental audit reports

and submit findings to clients and authorities. Lead

site inspections

and environmental monitoring programs on a regular basis. Review environmental aspects of

method statements and construction plans

. Promote environmental awareness and deliver training to site personnel. Support

ISO 14001:2015

certification activities and internal audits. Track and analyze

environmental KPIs

to ensure continuous improvement. Coordinate with HSE and QA/QC departments to ensure integrated compliance. Liaise with external laboratories for environmental testing and analysis. Respond to environmental incidents, including spills or violations, and prepare investigation reports. Maintain detailed records and documentation for regulatory inspections. Ensure proper implementation of

dust suppression

, erosion control, and water conservation techniques. Support environmental permitting and approval processes for new or ongoing projects.

Qualification

Minimum 4 Years of Experience in Safety Specialist Level 6 (NEBOSH Environmental Diploma or IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management) ISO 14001 EMS Lead Auditor Training. Occupational Health, Safety and Security Officer
