Manages the Environmental function and personnel within assigned area of responsibility, typically at the Country or similar level. Ensures compliance with established policies, procedures, systems and requirements of the Client and the Company, including environmental baseline surveys (EBSs) and environmental closure surveys (ECSs) for properties occupied by company. Manages programs, policies, procedures and processes in support of the Company's environmental strategies, including but not limited to: waste management, pollution prevention and waste minimization, permitting assistance, hazardous materials compliance, UST/AST compliance, air and water compliance issues, aspects of environmental management systems, and assistance with other general environmental tasks. Manages and conducts training and audit programs that ensure regulatory compliance. Provides technical guidance to project management and operations personnel; prepares and presents technical findings and reports; and interprets data, requirements and standards. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of pertinent environmental regulations and issues, as well as proposed changes in regulatory or other requirements, and ensures company compliance with pertinent requirements. May lead or participate in HAZMAT response or other fieldwork. Performs functional or technical support as required.

As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with the "General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities" addendum

Basic Job Requirements Position may be located in a wide variety of environments, from conventional indoor office workspace to project worksites with harsh, working and living conditions. To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and nine (9) years to twelve (12) years related experience. Requires computer skills and proficiency using email, Microsoft Office or specialized applications as necessary to perform assigned job functions.
