Job Title:

ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS) Auditor - Freelance (Renewal Audit)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced freelance ISO 14001:2015 auditor to assist with the renewal process of our Environmental Management System certification. Our organization is a business gifting and marketing agency committed to environmentally responsible operations. The consultant will conduct internal audits, review compliance documentation, and support preparations for the upcoming surveillance/renewal audit by a certification body.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and update EMS documentation to ensure alignment with ISO 14001:2015 requirements

Conduct a pre-renewal internal audit, identifying gaps, non-conformities, and improvement areas

Validate implementation of environmental objectives, controls, and compliance obligations relevant to the gifting/marketing sector (e.g., packaging waste, sustainable sourcing)

Guide corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes

Ensure evidence and records for previous corrective actions, risk assessments, and legal compliance are audit-ready

Assist with auditor communication and readiness during external surveillance/renewal audit

Provide brief staff training or refreshers if required

Deliver a final audit readiness report summarizing findings and improvements made

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Business Sustainability, or a related discipline

ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor certification (IRCA or equivalent) - mandatory

Minimum 3 years of EMS audit experience, preferably with service-based or consumer product companies

Understanding of environmental aspects of marketing and gifting businesses (e.g., product sourcing, packaging, energy use, waste reduction)

Ability to work independently and meet strict timelines for audit readiness

Prior freelance or contract experience with ISO renewal audits is highly desirable

Work Terms:

Project-based (short-term) engagement for ISO 14001:2015 renewal

Remote and onsite (if needed) support based on audit scope

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
