Environmental Engineer/Specialist Job description: Conducting environmental assessments: responsible for assessing the impact of the company\xe2\x80\x99s activities on the environment, and conducting environmental assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate their impact. Developing environmental policies and regulations: work to develop policies and regulations aimed at protecting the environment. Designing and implementing environmental plans: design and implement plans to clean up contaminated area, including soil and water remediation\xe2\x80\xa6etc. Prepare and implementing of CEMP on the site: design and implement plans for project\xe2\x80\x99s site execution Developing and implementing waste management plan & strategies: design and implement plan & strategies to manage solid and hazardous waste, this includes developing recycling programs Provide leadership through the active management and effective prioritization of HSE activities Conducting research and development: conduct research and development to find innovative solutions to environmental problems, this includes developing new technologies for waste management and pollution control. Evaluate solutions residual risk and prioritize management actions Identify potential or actual areas of non-compliance through audits and inspections Investigating environmental incident/accident providing a law enforcement presence regarding the environment Facilitate root cause determination complete accident investigations and implement corrective action Identify and plan environmental related promotional activities like campaigns or toolbox talk with distribution. Establish systems and provide leadership: identification and monitoring of workplace safety risks and environmental impact through the analysis of work processes equipment and the work habits of employees. Conducting and maintaining the Noise, Lux and dust monitoring record. Monthly environment reports Education: a bachelor\'s degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, or, a master\'s degree in environmental engineering or a related field.
