We are a leading upstream/midstream/downstream oil & gas organization committed to safe, responsible, and sustainable operations. We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our team and help ensure compliance, mitigate environmental risks, and drive continuous improvement in environmental performance across our assets and projects, including our operations in Ruwais.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support environmental permitting, including air, water, waste, spill prevention & control, and regulatory compliance across oil & gas operations. Conduct or oversee environmental impact assessments (EIA), environmental baseline studies, environmental management plans (EMP), and monitoring programmes for both greenfield and brownfield facilities. Develop, implement and maintain environmental management systems (EMS) in accordance with ISO 14001 and other relevant standards; set and monitor KPIs. Respond to environmental incidents, conduct investigations, root-cause analysis, implement corrective and preventive actions. Liaise with operations, engineering, project teams, regulators and other stakeholders to ensure integrated and robust environmental performance. Provide training, workshops and awareness-sessions for staff on environmental procedures, standards and good practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline. Proven experience (5-10 years or more) in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry, ideally covering environmental regulatory compliance, permitting, EIA/EMP, and emission/waste management. Familiarity with ISO 14001 EMS. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
