Environmental Engineer

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee environmental compliance and ensure adherence to Ashghal and Qatar regulatory standards. Prepare environmental reports, assessments, and documentation for infrastructure and civil projects. Monitor environmental performance during construction and operational phases. Develop and implement environmental management plans (EMP). Coordinate with Ashghal, consultants, and contractors regarding environmental issues. Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to minimize environmental impact.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or related field (Master's degree is an advantage). Minimum 6 years' experience in environmental engineering, with at least 2-3 years on Ashghal projects. Strong knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and local environmental laws. Familiarity with ISO 14001 standards and environmental management systems. Excellent communication and report-writing skills. Available to join immediately or within short notice (preferred).
