Environmental Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled

Environmental Engineer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for

planning, implementing, and monitoring environmental programs and initiatives

that ensure project sustainability, regulatory compliance, and environmental protection in alignment with

NEAS standards

.
This role requires a combination of technical expertise, fieldwork experience, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct environmental site assessments and evaluate ecological impacts. Perform regular site visits to monitor ongoing projects and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company standards. Conduct environmental monitoring and sampling for

air, water, and soil quality

using appropriate equipment. Support

Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)

and

Environmental Management Plans (EMP)

with data analysis and technical input. Participate in

environmental audits, inspections, and incident investigations

in coordination with the HSE department. Provide technical support in implementing

ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems

and sustainability initiatives. Develop and implement

environmental management plans and sustainability programs.

Maintain up-to-date records of

environmental permits, approvals, and compliance documentation.

Coordinate with

regulatory authorities, clients, consultants, and government entities

(e.g., EAD, MOCCAE) to ensure regulatory compliance and timely reporting. Prepare detailed, accurate, and timely

technical reports

, including environmental impact assessments, recommendations, and mitigation strategies. Provide guidance and training to project staff on environmental best practices and safety protocols.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.

Master's degree

in Environmental Engineering or related field (preferred). Minimum of

5 years of experience

in environmental engineering or a related discipline. Proven experience conducting site visits, field assessments, and preparing technical reports. Strong knowledge of

UAE environmental regulations

and international best practices. Certification or training in

ISO 14001:2015

,

HSE

, or

environmental auditing

(advantageous). Experience with

GIS mapping, AutoCAD

, or

data analysis tools

used in environmental assessments. Proficiency in

MS Office

and environmental management software. Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
