Pioneer Engineering Consultancy is pleased to announce exciting new career opportunities to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Environmental Consultant / EIA Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies in compliance with
MOCCAE
and local authority regulations. Prepare, review, and submit environmental reports, including EIA, Environmental Management Plans (EMP), and monitoring reports. Conduct baseline environmental studies, site assessments, and impact evaluations for large-scale projects. Liaise with government authorities (MOCCAE, municipalities, and regulators) to secure necessary environmental approvals and permits. Develop and implementEnvironmental Management Systems (EMS)
aligned withISO 14001 standards
. Provide technical guidance on environmental mitigation, sustainability practices, and monitoring programs. Perform environmental audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to legal and contractual requirements. Deliver training, awareness programs, and technical support to project teams on environmental best practices.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
MOCCAE approval
as an Environmental Consultant / EIA Specialist - mandatory.ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems Lead Auditor
certification - required. Minimum10 years of professional experience
in environmental consultancy, including EIA project experience. Strong knowledge of UAE environmental legislation, permitting processes, and international EIA guidelines. Proficiency in environmental monitoring tools, GIS applications, and reporting software. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and report-writing skills.Job Type: Full-time
