Job Description

Title: Enterprise Architect - IT
Location: Dubai

Objective:
  • Recommend and participate in the design and implementation of standards, tools and methodologies
  • Identify implementation risks and analyses potential impact on the enterprise and on the achievement of scheduled objectives.
  • Lead and participate in the development of architecture blueprints for related systems and roadmap
  • Participate as a key stake holder in the overall IT systems architecture
  • Ensure that overall Enterprise Architecture Strategy is consistent with overall enterprise and organizational vision and mission
  • Oversee the maintenance and upgrades of legacy systems, software, hardware, and networks, all with an eye on supporting various business units, and helping to achieve business goals.
  • Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of an organization\'s Application landscape.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure architects in building end to end enterprise-wide architect and solutions that are fit for purpose and future scalability and growth projections
  • Work with a team of IT professionals to oversee our IT landscape and help direct enterprise architecture models.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Creating business architecture models to reflect the organization\'s strategies and goals and creating and implementing business visions and goals
  • Evaluating systems engineering, talent recruiting and accounting models for discrepancies and vulnerabilities
  • Evaluate the internal business strategies and existing IT processes and architecture
  • Evaluating internal functions, business development strategies and IT processes and suggesting improvements
  • Suggest improvements to IT functions, processes, and systems
  • Consult with business units in order to determine their IT requirements
  • Create and implement IT strategies to achieve business goals
  • Write and revise existing training and technical manuals
  • Suggesting ideas to reduce costs in IT and business leadership
  • Organizing training to improve employees\' knowledge and skills for future organizational growth
  • Conducting research in talent management to improve the organization\'s business operations
  • Ensuring the efficiency, security, and support of the organization\'s goals
  • Creating methods for compliance architecture, such as data storage, metadata management and change control
  • Responsible for overseeing, improving, and upgrading the IT networks in organization to help and guide on enterprise architecture.
Requirements:
  • A first degree or its equivalent in IT or in an IT related discipline
  • Certification in two or more of the following areas: TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL & Cloud certifications relating to architecture
  • 10 + years in various IT roles and environments up to and including technical or team leadership positions
  • Proven experience of Design and delivery of Enterprise Architecture
  • Deep and Broad Infrastructure Understanding Related to data center infrastructure hardware and software systems including network, security, storage and compute for traditional data center hosted applications virtual and private cloud solutions
  • Experience in deploying and managing virtualization technologies
  • Previous experience in a technical infrastructure design role and demonstration of subject expertise
  • Ideally comes from Telco industry, someone who understand the Enterprise Architecture in a Telco organization (ideally someone who understands the overall capability of BSS, B2B architecture and Digital architectures)
