Informa Markets is on a transformation journey and and opportunities for Informa Markets to achieve its objectives at a large scale and within a complex landscape of businesses and fragmented technology estate requires a highly effective, delivery focused enterprise architecture practice. This role will be responsible for designing and delivering solutions to deliver incremental customer value using key business platforms.

The role needs an ambitious, energetic, self-starter with a passion for the Enterprise Architecture and Innovation with experience designing, structuring and delivering large scale multi-disciplinary, multi-vendor/stakeholder strategic solutions.

The is expected to assume the following key responsibilities plus any other reasonable duties as required:

• Transform the way we prospect, convert, sell and deliver products and services to the global communities we serve.
• Lay the foundation for our future - help improve and establish key business platforms to enable IM to deliver its virtual, hybrid and physical events, pursue new revenue models and create product offerings.
• Applying an agile mindset - balancing business strategy with the timelines available, and determining how technologies can best fulfil our business needs
• Functions as a liaison to Business and IT partners in order to gain a broad understanding of industry trends and innovations, and their impact on the enterprise.
• Producing our technology transition roadmaps for business platforms, bringing into play several factors such as Industry and Domain best practice, available technologies and business need.
• Working closely with senior business and technology leaders within our organisation to shape the vision, and being seen as the go-to point for that technology vision
• Supporting the programme teams to deliver the programme outcomes in the timelines required
• Ensure solutions developed across organization are aligned to enterprise architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet financial targets (cost and benefits).
• Participating in the planning and execution of projects that move ideas from Ideation to Incubation and proto-typing.
• Working with technical and business teams to evaluate new and emerging technologies, vendors and business models
• Being part of the Technology Extended Leadership Team to drive positive change into the function
• Participating in the planning and execution of projects that move ideas from Ideation to Incubation and proto-typing
• Success for the Enterprise Architecture role will be measured by delivering an architecture roadmap that will help tackle digital transformation challenges and optimize all customer engagements:

o Establish and Improve key business platform which are flexible and scalable to deliver configurable business processes to cater for diverse regional business needs

o Establish/improve business platform technology landscape/blueprints with guardrails( standards, policies, and principles )

o Rationalize & simplify business platforms

o Key platform roadmaps and domain landscape

o Treat data as a strategic imperative

o Assess the impacts and risks on the technology landscape when considering a new business transformation initiative.

Provide target architecture and roadmaps knowledge to assist with business case development

Qualifications

• Must have a good level of experience at Enterprise Architecture level
• Experience with IT landscape rationalization and simplification.
• Ability to work and influence distributed delivery teams in a collaborative and inclusive way.
• Experience with Design Thinking and mobilising teams / skills to deliver Minimum Viable Products and prototypes.
• Experience of performing enterprise architecture role within Agile and non-Agile ways of working and associated frameworks.
• Extensive experience of working with Product owners/ Leadership to align enterprise architecture to strategic plans and commercial objectives
• Must have experience in architecting and modernising Backoffice systems (marketing, sales, and service) ideally using Salesforce however, alternative CRM platforms will be considered
• Understating of marketing, sales, and service processes
• Experience in modelling and graphic representations
• A good understating of system integrations concepts and APIs
• Excellent technical, analytical and stakeholder management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player and able to work effectively at all levels of an organisation with the ability to influence
• Bachelor's degree in information technology is preferred
